Horse-drawn Adirondack Sleigh Rides at John Brown Farm

Enjoy the crisp mountain air, wrap up in warm blankets and enjoy the amazing vistas of the Adirondack Mountains while sleigh bells ring. Take in the scenic views of  the Olympic Ski Jumps, nearby Whiteface Mountain, the Adirondack High Peaks and more while touring the historic John Brown Farm. Your ride begins with a stroll through the winding woods and culminates with “dashing through the snow!”

Take pictures with the horses, enjoy hot chocolate in the warming shed, and access all of the John Brown Farm historic sites and trails.

Adirondack Sleigh Rides is owned and operated by Plattsburgh’s Country Dream Farm. Owner Melissa Provost brings her team to the historic John Brown Farm (weather permitting) for a 30-minute loop through the woods and open areas.

Sleigh rides are offered by reservation only. Private rides are available.

Rides are $40 for an adult, $15 for children 4-10, 3 and under are FREE.
